Ashland Contemporary Theatre returns to the stage with our (nearly) annual tribute to new works by local playwrights, entitled: “Moonlighting 2022: Passages” This year we will feature a longer play: “Gabe,” a 50 minute one-act by Bob Valine, directed by artistic director Jeannine Grizzard. The short works are: “Shelf Life” written and directed by Dori Appel, “Click” by Diane Nichols, directed by Kate Sullivan, “Simple Treasures” written and directed by Teresa Peterson, and “Skip Intro” by John Yunker, directed by Jeannine Grizzard.
Pivotal life transitions or passages weave a theme through the plays—except when it’s better to just “skip it” altogether! All playwrights are veterans of the “Moonlighting” series. Actors in the company include: Kristen Caron, Lia Dugal, Noah Fitterer, Alayha McNamara, Janna Mitchell, Trevor Pekas, CJ Reid, and Jeannine Grizzard.
Performances are at Grizzly Peak Winery, 1600 E. Nevada Street, Ashland. Saturdays and Sundays at 4pm, March 26th & 27th and April 2nd & 3rd.
