Ashland Contemporary Theatre collaborates with Oregon Stage Works to present a staged reading of Jane Anderson’s play, The Quality of Life.

One couple from the red-blooded heartland of America and one couple from the liberal wilds of Berkeley, face devastating life events as they spend a summer weekend together in Northern California.

The Quality of Life is the winner of several major awards for Best New Play.

“Playwright Jane Anderson explores a myriad of ethical, religious, and moral beliefs, as well as personal right issues concerning life and death in her remarkable and completely engrossing new play” – Terri Roberts, Theater Mania.

Peter Alzado directs and appears with Jeannine Grizzard, Diane Nichols, and Ashland newcomer (but lifelong professional) Jesai Jayhmes.
